The Holton/Jackson County Chamber of Commerce Hall of Fame event is held in February of each year and is a celebration of participation in the Chamber and the community.  Nominations are accepted by Chamber members and citizens.

The nominees are then voted upon by our Selection Committee and will rate the nominees according to the following outstanding achievements:

  • Inspiring Leadership
  • Business Excellence
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit
  • Community Impact
  • Volunteer of the Year

Nominees will receive awards at the Hall of Fame dinner, which is open to the community as a whole (not restricted to Chamber members). 

Requirements: Nominations are open to all of Jackson County residents or members of the workforce who are currently or who have in the past, been active with the Holton/Jackson County Chamber. Chamber and community members may submit more than one nomination.  Nominations for the Hall of Fame awards are due by September 30th to be considered for the upcoming event.  Nominations can be mailed or turned in to 104 W 5th St. Holton, KS 66436. 

Selection: The selection committee will rate the nominees according to the following outstanding achievements:

  • Business Excellence
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit
  • Community Impact
  • Volunteer of the Year

Those individuals chosen will be contacted by a representative of the selection committee, and must be willing to submit a photo or have a photo taken to be used in The Holton Recorder.

Applications can be submitted throughout the year.  To have a nominee considered for the next banquet, it is suggested to turn in applications by the last Friday in September.
