Trails Café Hosts Wildcat Night


A portion of dine in and carry out sales this evening at Trails Café will be donated to the USD 336 PTO.  They are raising funds to equip the classrooms at Central and Colorado Elementary school with Smartboard technology.  Trails Café supports the students and educators, and hope you will too!  We want to equip them with the best tools possible!

Founders Day: Like mysteries?

        Join the Jackson County Historical Society for an evening of food, fun and entertainment!

        The program entitled Lost in Time will feature mystery items from the past. Items are from the society's collection.  You may also bring an item of your own if you want help identifying it.  Can you stump the crowd with your item?

Department of Commerce Seeks Business Appreciation Month Nominations


Award qualifications include:

• Employee training/educational programs.

• Support of local activities including school activities, community events, and economic development and leadership programs.

      The Holton/Jackson County Chamber of Commerce would be proud to assist any of our local businesses with completing a nomination.

      County-wide garage sales will be held April 20 & 21.  Calls are continuing to pour in from visitors marking their calendars. 

      New this year will be the Outdoor Market.  If you are looking for prime visibility and more traffic this location will guarantee it.

Main Street Looking For Volunteers


Main Street’s Design Committee would like volunteers you paint Victorian figures for a winter courthouse display.
